Youth Leadership Program (YLP) – Through a partnership with the Youth Learning Institute, this program is designed to provide income-eligible students between the ages of 16-18 with educational opportunities focusing on academic, behavior and social interaction. Students also obtain character counts training to developed leadership skills. To participate in our youth leadership program, students must be between the ages of 16 -18, attend schools in either Spartanburg or Cherokee Counties, and must be income eligible. Enrollment opportunities exist from January through May.
Youth Leadership Employment Program -During the summer months, opportunity exist for a job internship for youths enrolled in the program. Through youth employment, students gain emotional and social skills, learn how to avoid risk taking behavior, and obtain job experience at minimum wage.
